Who we are
A software company, not an agency.
TechOn is a team of engineers and designers working out of Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Houston. We build AI platforms, mobile applications and the enterprise systems that businesses run their day on.
We do not subcontract, and we do not staff projects with whoever is free. The people in your first meeting are the people who build the thing — and who answer the phone two years later when you want to extend it.
Mission
Make good software ordinary.
Too many businesses have been sold systems that are slow, fragile or already abandoned. We exist to change what people expect from the software they pay for: fast, documented, owned by them, and still standing years later.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Conrad founded TechOn in 2019 after a decade of building systems for banks, hospitals and logistics operators across East Africa. He still reviews architecture on every project the company takes on.

Two engineers, one room in Dar es Salaam, and a first contract to rebuild a logistics back office.

First enterprise system
A hospital management platform that is still in daily use six years later.

Mobile practice opens
Flutter and React Native become a core capability rather than a side offering.

Nairobi and Houston
Clients across three countries, and the team grows to support them properly.
